- When someone says that they hate their job, what comes to your mind? Why might they feel that way? Perhaps they don't have a great boss or maybe they feel like they don't get to collaborate with others as much as they want, or maybe it's something else altogether. Alternatively, when someone says that they love their job, what do you typically picture? Maybe it's because they're part of a great culture or they're surrounded by passionate people. In this video, I want to share with you some ways to identify the normative behaviors in your culture so that you can know what behaviors may be impacting your teammates. When you think about things that go on at your workplace, it's important to consider why people act in the ways that they do, norms are short for normatives, which is how I talk about the collective actions or behaviors that people take.
