- In his letter from a Birmingham City jail, Dr. Martin Luther king, Jr. once wrote that, "An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow provincial outside agitator idea". In this video, I'm going to walk you through how injustices that show up in our workplaces are often derivatives of larger societal systemic frameworks, and how these frameworks must be recognized and addressed if you want individuals within your organization to feel valued. First, I want to break down a few things because certain ideals like justice can and do look different to many people.
