From the course: Custom Theme Building with Elementor Pro

Exercise files

- [Instructor] In regards to exercise files, I don't have a WordPress or Elementor file for you. We will be working through a project together in order to utilize the various features of Elementor Pro. But don't worry. I do have some assets for you so you can follow along and practice what I'm showing you. Inside the theme building with Elementor folder, you will find the following elements. There's a web copy folder. This contains a PDF document with the web copy for our project. This document contains all of the text and direction on which images you'll want to use throughout the web project. The text will be displayed in black and my notes in regards to the images, categories, buttons and any other relevant details are going to be displayed in gray. As I build out this site, I'll be getting the text from this document. Even though I won't be showing you how I'm copy-pasting the text, know that this is where you can find the text. You can simply select the text and copy it into your web project. I also have a code snippet PDF file for you. This contains some custom CSS that will be using throughout this course. I have identified the various course lessons that correspond with the code snippets. In addition to the web copy, I'll be providing you with a folder that contains all of the website media. This folder is called websiteMedia. This contains both the images and a few videos that we're going to be using throughout the site. For the most part, I've named all of the files with a prefix that aligns to the specific page in which the image will be used on. There are a few exceptions to this rule, but it should be pretty intuitive for you to figure out which image I'm using on each page. This information is also specified in the web copy document. Finally, I'm providing two PDF files that contain all of the UX materials that we'll be using throughout this course. I have a style guide that's going to give you direction on the colors and the text treatments that I'm using for our website. I've specified the font families, the sizes, the weights, and the line height. And I have an example of what our button is going to look like. Finally, I have a site map. This is an overview of all the pages that we'll be creating in this project and the names of those pages. I've color coded the various page types, so you'll understand if something is a post, a page, or a category archive page, which will be dynamically generated. So when it comes time to build the pages, you'll only have to build the four dark gray pages. The light teal color are the posts and then these blue items are going to be category pages that will be dynamically created within our project. I hope you find these supporting materials helpful as we go through this course and build out our MAR website together.
