- Who would you want to lead you? That's a tough question. Of course, we want someone smart and calm and fair, and we want someone we respect and who actually understands what we do and can guide us. But those things don't always overlap. What if your hard skills don't match those of your team? Maybe you were brought in from another department or another company where you were doing different things. And if your team's work is technical, you may not have the basis to fully understand it.
