- [Instructor] I've touched on this before, but it's worth making explicit without solid planning upfront your digital transformation program is unlikely to succeed. Start by asking what exactly is the outcome you're working towards? What's the ultimate goal for this transformation? And to transform digitally, isn't a real answer, it's just the means, not the end. What changes do you want to see in your system and processes and why? Once you've taken the time to study your current operations you'll have a much better understanding of what's broken and where there are roadblocks. From there, you can start setting meaningful goals that address these areas directly, defining what success means in each case. If you don't define what success looks like, it'll be hard to know when you've achieved it. Or even if you're on the right track?
