Solution: Measure the height and area
(uplifting music) - [Instructor] Now let's look at the solution for measuring the height and area of the engineering building. Okay, so here I am in drone to map, and I'm using the DEM products of the digital surface model. Remember that the DSM has the buildings and the heights all in the actual digital elevation model. So we're going to use that. I'm also on the Analysis tab here, and in this case I want to measure both the area and the height of the building. So for area, that's pretty straightforward. I'm going to click Area here, and then I'll go ahead and actually trace out this area and get the perimeter area extent. And remember, that when you want to complete it, double click. Great, now I have my area and I have my square meters right here. You can also see that right on the map. Okay, now let's get the height of the building. In this case, I'm just going to remove this measurement and we'll zoom into maybe this area here. And what we're interested in is the side here…
