Understanding the Drone2Map Contents panel
- [Instructor] So let's dive a little deeper into the Contents pane. Here on the left, I'll click on Contents, and pin it so we can see it better. In Contents, notice the layers are organized as part of a map called 2D Map. If you want to rename this, you can by right clicking on it and choosing Properties. Here on the General tab at the top, I can put my cursor in here and rename it. Let's call it "2D Map Chapter 1." Now, after clicking Okay, it's updated everywhere. Here in the Contents pane it's updated, here on the data tab, and even over here in the catalog under Maps, we have that new name. So under the map name, we have always, two different layers. We have the project data layer and a base map layer. The project data layer is exactly what it sounds like. This is our drone imagery, and any products that we produce from our project. Now, you'll always have a base map. Here it's set as world imagery, but we could change that at any time by going to the Home ribbon and choosing to…
