- [Instructor] So let's explore custom GPTs and learn how to build your own GPT using the configuration files I provide. Say you want to use the translator GPT from our previous example, but have it translate into French instead of German. So let's go to the repo and open the config file. Let's build a GPT based on that config file first. Head over to ChatGPT and then open the sidebar on the left, scroll down to Explore GPTs and click Create. Now, by default, it'll probably show you that chat interface over here. If that is the case, switch over to Configure. And now let me bring both screens next to each other. Keep in mind that this will only work with a paid plan, like Plus, Team or Enterprise subscription if you want to create your own GPT. Now you can see that the config file on the left resembles the form here on the right. Now we just need to copy them over. The name and the description don't serve a functional purpose.
