Hello, I'm Alan Berrey, an instructor at Expert Dig. I'm grateful that you're spending some of your valuable time with me on this important subject. Decades ago, I attended a high level executive briefing at Ford Motor Company's headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. Ford had a strategic project underway to move all supplier facing communications off of fax, paper and telephone and onto the web. The initiative would impact the entire supply chain, which made some corporate leaders interested and nervous. Because I was intimately involved in the project, my division director, Terry, asked me to attend the executive briefing. She was allocated five minutes in a crowded agenda and she asked me, one of her newer project managers, to present the team's progress and answer any questions.
