Freezing and unfreezing panes

We're looking at a large worksheet. It's on the tab called Freezing. It's new to me, let's say, and I want to scroll down the list. Now I can use the arrow keys like this, pressing rapidly perhaps, or better yet, perhaps on the mouse using the mouse wheel. But what happens if I start to scroll downward? I'm missing the heading, and although many of these columns are obvious as to what they contain, I want to be sure, but I'm missing the heading that's in row 1. It's not uncommon to say let's freeze row one. There could even be scenarios where you're saying I want to freeze the top three rows or five rows. But just make sure the rows you want to freeze are visible so we can click anywhere. And then on the view tab in the ribbon menu system, off to the right, freeze panes, and we see some options here.
