- [Instructor] Value stream maps are valuable process analysis tools, but it doesn't make sense to talk about them without using specific examples. In this course, I will describe how a manufacturer finishes work on a robot, makes it available for sale, and also how it handles its contract processes. The name of the company that we'll use is Red30 Tech. This company is fictional, but we're assuming that in mixed products that include drones, robots and books, for example, books about robotics and also instructions for building your own. We will work with two scenarios in this course. The first deals with assembly of cat robots, and we won't take them all the way from having the microcontrollers created and onto shipment. We'll just look at a specific part of the assembly process. Scenario two is in creating contracts.
