Adding effects to clips

- [Instructor] Now that we've previewed a few of the effects from the browser, let's see a few different ways we can apply them to clips in the timeline. I'm here in my chapter five, two project and if you're just tuning in, we've switched our workspaces. So if you go to the Window menu and from that choose Workspaces, Color and Effects. You'll have a workspace similar to mine. However, we've closed a couple things. I press cmd+7 to close the video scopes that show up and cmd+4 just to hide the inspector temporarily. So all I really see here is my timeline, my clip, and the Effects browser. And that can be brought up with cmd+5 if you'd like. So last movie was all about just previewing Effects, we're going to add the Effect right now. We're at "Add Effects to Clips." One way to do that, is to go to an Effect category. Let's go to Blur. And under Blur, I'm going to select the Gaussian Blur Effect and simply select it, and drag it onto the clip. And right away, that's simply applied to…
