- [Narrator] So before we get started, there are a few pieces of setup that you'll need to do for this course. The first thing is that if you don't already have Node.js installed on your computer, or if you have an outdated version installed, you'll want to head over to Node.js' website, nodejs.org, and download the installer for the recommended version of Node.js. Beyond that, all you really need to do is run the installer, and that should set up Node.js for you on your computer. The second thing you'll probably want to do for this course, is create a test email account. Later on in the course, we'll be using this account to send emails, and that'll involve putting your password into the code. So just to avoid any mishaps, it might be best if you just create a test account to use for this course. And besides that, there's not too much more that you'll need to set up besides the exercise files.
