- [Instructor] Communication is a key component of a successful learning experience. Most learning management systems will provide communication tools, but they may differ. Let's take a look at a couple of examples. One form of communication offered by most learning management systems is an announcement feature. Here inside of Canvas, you'll notice over here that I have an announcement tab right inside of my biology course. And if I click on it, it's a way for me to share announcements that will then be sent out to all participants. Here, I'm reminding them of an upcoming exam and an upcoming field trip. Now, another form of communication is direct messaging, being able to utilize features, which allow you to send and receive messages similar to email. Doing this inside of the learning management system can save a lot of time and frustration. I'll switch over here to Moodle. And in here, I can send these messages.…
