- Earlier in the course, we talked about some of the technical limitations of GenAI today. Things like bias, inability to reason, tendency to hallucinate, and the nasty habit to do all of this while adopting an error of unearned confidence in what it generates. But there are also very important ethical limitations as well. As AI becomes further entwined with sales and service, we need to confront these ethical questions head on. How we apply generative AI speaks volumes about our values. Let's impact key dimensions professionals must consider. First, privacy, handling customer data responsibly is an obligation. Strong governance, consent, and protections build trust. We also need to consider the data that has been used to train AI so far. Do the companies developing the AI have explicit permission from the creators of all of that content? I can tell you the answer's no, because some of those content creators are in court…
