- Now we understand more about what AI can do, let's talk about what it can't do. We've talked about the possibilities of generative AI, but now let's balance that with realistic expectations. AI has limitations we must recognize to avoid pitfalls. Why is this important? First, because limitations that exist today may not exist tomorrow. You might even be the person who figures out how to overcome them. That means features that don't exist today might exist tomorrow. Second, it's important to know the limitations of AI so that we don't overestimate its ability to help us today.
