- [Instructor] As a Google Ads advertiser, you're going to be gaining access to the Google Network and the Network is divided into two main areas, the Google Search Network and the Google Display Network, which we commonly refer to as Search and Display. Now, the Search Network includes the familiar text ads that you've seen alongside Search results, but these ads can also display on Google Maps, Google Shopping, and even websites that are search partners such as AOL. And these are primarily bid on a cost per click model. Now, on the other side of the network, we have Display. And with Display advertising, you'll place text or image advertisements on sites around the web or even within mobile applications. Now these banner ads can add different shapes and sizes, and you've likely encountered these as you've navigated the web.
