Use building blocks to insert data
- [Instructor] Building blocks are pre-formatted blocks of text that you can insert into your documents. They can contain regular text, they can contain smart chips, such as dropdown lists. It takes all of those things and puts them together into a mini template. All of these options at the top of the screen, these are building blocks. For example, I can click More and see some smart chips that I can insert and also some building blocks. In fact, let's click on Meeting Notes right now. This is useful if you're building meeting notes for an upcoming meeting. I'll click on it and it's going to pull directly from my Google Calendar to find out what upcoming meetings I have. Here's one, and this is in fact the one that I want to create the meeting notes for. If I click on it, it's going to take the title of my meeting, it's going to put all the attendees in here, and now I can fill out my own notes for this meeting.
