I recently completed the Graphic Design Careers: First Steps course on LinkedIn Learning, and I found it to be an insightful introduction to graphic design. This course provided a clear overview of essential concepts like color theory, typography, and layout.
I particularly appreciated the balance between theory and practical advice, with the instructor breaking down various design roles and tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. It also covered important topics like building a portfolio and networking, which are often overlooked in beginner courses. While I would have liked more hands-on projects, the content was clear and engaging.
