Checking network details

- [Instructor] Even when you can abide to being offline for a while, you eventually need that network connection. To check up on things, specifically those annoying technical details, press the Windows + R key and type msconfig, press Enter. In the System Configuration utility, click the useful Tools tab, choose Internet Protocol Configuration, and this is important, click the Launch button. Do not click OK. Click Launch. Even if you consider yourself experienced with Windows, you might have never seen this output. Here is a command prompt window running the ipconfig command. Scroll up to see the full output. These are technical details often required when troubleshooting a network connection. The IPv6 address is listed here. The IPv4 address is here, along with the local gateway.
