- [Announcer] Here is a File Explorer window. This app is how you manage files in Windows. Press the Windows E keyboard shortcut to open this window. This look can be customized in as much as you can change the view. Use the "view" menu here. The files are currently shown in the large icons view. You can choose to present these icons as details, which shows more information, or you can choose something short like the list view, which just shows the items in a list. The navigation pane, this area, is controlled from the view, show, sub menu. The navigation pane is visible. Also on this item is "compact view." This is a great option for when you have lots of pinned folders stored in the navigation pane, or you just have a lot of files and folders in the main part of the window, and you want to see more of them.
