Creating a junk email rule in Outlook

- [Narrator] An email rule in Outlook directs the program to instantly deal with certain types of messages, such as spam, or even routine mail that requires specific and consistent actions. It's more customizable than just flagging a message as junk or blocking a sender. So here you see a spam message, which is something I receive consistently from this sender. From the home tab, choose the overflow, rules, create rule. Rules control how incoming email is dealt with based on one of three conditions, from a specific sender or email address, when the subject contains the given text, and who the message is delivered to. For this rule, I want to deal with all messages sent from this specific individual. Next, you set what happens to the message, how Outlook automatically deals with it.
