We're going to take a look at some special things that the view tools in the modify tab will do for us. So, to start with, let's look at the section box, but wait, this isn't active. That couldn't be good. What happens if I select elements that I want to take a close look at? Hey, now all of the tools have lit up. That's awesome. Let's look at selection box. What this did was it created a tiny little box that isolates the elements that I wanted to look at so that I can take a close look at them. Now when I click on the selection box, I can see, and let's get out of the shaded mode for a bit, as wonderful as these bright colors are. Now I can see that the section box has got grips on it. I can drag them. And this now allows me to dynamically cut through the model. I can go into the 3D view properties, I can turn off the section box, that brings the entire model back. Then I can, without getting back into the modify tab, I can look at the view properties and I can turn the section box…
