Working with route analysis settings in Revit
Did you know Revit has a significant crystal ball? It has a built-in ability to analyze and predict behaviors in the model. Analysis can be performed for different disciplines. You know, it could be structures, it could be MEP, it could be for sustainability reasons. So in this video, we're going to focus on the route analysis group of tools. The first thing you need to remember is that route analysis looks for and recognizes obstacles. Let's take a look at setting up obstacles. You could click on this little arrow or you could click on this button to reveal obstacles. But right now I actually want to customize the obstacles. I don't want to just look at them. Revit gives you a list of items that it will not consider as obstacles right now by default. The only item not considered to be an obstacle is doors.
