- It's one thing to make a plan and it's another thing to actually set that plan into motion. That's because we can get derailed for all sorts of reasons. Procrastination, interruptions, lack of motivation but here's the thing, you're the boss of you. You get to choose where your focus goes and I know what you're thinking. But what if my boss, my clients, my kids, my fill in the blank need me? Yeah, I get it but it's a choice to jump to attention immediately and do what they're asking of you. It's also a choice to pop over to yet another website and watch an Instant Pop recipe, which is what I just did when I was supposed to be writing this script. But I caught myself. That's the most important first step. You see, distractions come at us every second and it can be hard to stay focused. Remember, I'm not perfect either.
