- Why is it that it seems to take almost as long to compile the notes from a meeting as it does to actually have the meeting? It's exhausting, but here's a way to take notes and share the notes in a way that is helpful and quick. Whoever is taking notes, and there should be one person specifically assigned to take notes, make sure they are taking notes by topic. So you might have one document or discussion thread open on the product launch, and then another one on the holiday plans, and then another one on the new idea for the charitable partnership. This way, as these individual projects roll out, everything that happens in the meetings is captured by project, and people who are not involved in different projects don't have to read everything that happened in that meeting.
