- Hybrid work arrangements, which feature some combination of work in the office and work done elsewhere are here to stay. The energy for this, is coming from employees, not employers and a big driver is the sense of personal control that employees feel over where and when they work and how they get work done. For many, the optimal work week is one or two days in the office. Among young workers, more than seven out of 10 say they would consider looking for a new job if they were required to return to the office time.
