- [Instructor] Hey, it's Anne Marie here, for InDesign Tips for Design Geeks. Today, we're going to talk about making your work easier. Well, I guess every tip makes your work easier, but today's tip is, especially has to do with text frames. Take a look at this spread from a photo layout. I'm going to zoom in over here on the left. It's using a gray background, nothing wrong with that, but my issue is this pesky little guy right here, the overset marker. Why do I constantly have to keep doing this to make it go large? I mean, like if I go all the way down here and I have all this empty space, you know you can just double-click this part, this handle on the frame, and it'll snap up to the smallest possible size. But if I add text, like I'm going to copy and then paste and paste, it doesn't automatically snap down to fit all the text. We need auto fit, this should be on by default, in my opinion, for all text frames.…
