- [Instructor] Let's talk about this quiet little checkbox right here, Include Embeddable Fonts. What does that mean? What are its ramifications and the distribution of your EPUB and your legal use of the fonts and so on. That's what I'm going to talk about in this video, Include Embeddable Fonts is turned on by default, and by embeddable, that means that InDesign will look at the fonts that you used in your layout and inside those fonts, there is a little bit of code that tells InDesign and Acrobat and other apps, if somebody can embed, can include this typeface in a publication, in a digital publication, I would say 98% of fonts are embeddable but I have run into occasions where it says, sorry, this font cannot be embedded. Usually if it can't be embedded in an EPUB it won't be embeddable in A PDF either, just FYI. But let's say that you do choose to include embeddable fonts and that's what I usually choose, Include…
