- [Instructor] What do you do if you don't have an InDesign layout to begin with? What if you want to go straight from the Word file given to you by the author or any other kind of text file that they want to give you, maybe even a Google Doc, what do you do to start with a text file and turn that into an EPUB? Of course, you want to use InDesign, right, because you're watching this course, and InDesign has so many features that will help make a wonderful EPUB, unlike Word, which does not, all right? So here's just a little tip for you. You have your Word document here. We have a chapter from a book called "The History of Art" and it has a picture in it of an angel, I think. So this is what you're given. What I have for you in the exercise files is a little template file that I made.
