Challenge: Get your Couchbase up and running
(upbeat music) - [Instructor] It's time to apply the skills we've discussed in this chapter. When you've finished with this challenge, you'll have your own Couchbase Capella single-node cluster. You'll be able to connect to that cluster and start developing against it. Working this challenge will mean you will complete these steps. First, go to cloud.couchbase.com/sign-up and sign up for a free trial cluster. This may take a few minutes. Second, view the data that is automatically loaded into that cluster or, if you prefer, import your own data to work with. Third, add a user under the Database Credentials area of the Cluster Connect menu. Fourth, whitelist your IP address to allow your application to connect to the Couchbase cluster. Fifth, choose whichever IDE, integrated development environment, and software development kit, SDK, you prefer to code with.
