Configure a KQL database
- Now that we've set up an event stream, we can proceed to set up a KQL database to store the realtime data for further processing. In this video, we will look into the KQL database item, as well as the KQL queryset item. This is what you're going to see. We'll create a KQL database item. And we'll then need to define the database schema. We will be able to see our streaming data coming in. And we will then proceed to query the KQL database with, well, the KQL query language. And when we're happy with our query and I can tell you we will be happy quite soon, we can even create this query as a KQL queryset. Back to our real-time analytics homepage. Of course, to create a KQL database, we hit the button to create a new KQL database item. Let's call this one kql_Temperature. Click Create.
