- Welcome to Lesson 3: Load data into Fabric. With two lessons with concept and theory under your belt, now it's time to see Fabric in action, isn't it? We'll start with the first thing that is needed to be able to do anything in Fabric, we need to have some data to work with. As you have learned in the previous lesson, Fabric offers many different options when it comes to loading data into Fabric. The first option we cover in this lesson is to create a pipeline to load data. Another option is to not load data at all, but to simply configure shortcuts because why copy data, right? Something you will really want to do when trying Fabric is to synchronize data with the OneLake Explorer. It's easy and it's fun. The downside is that you may not have some parquet files hanging around somewhere, so what you then need to do is use a notebook to turn files into tables, although that's not the only way to turn files into tables, but that is for the next lesson. Let's get started.
