- [Brad] Welcome back to Cybrary's ISSEP course, I'm your instructor, Brad Rhodes. Let's get into the fundamentals. So we're going to talk about four areas here in this lesson. We're going to talk about zero trust architecture, which is kind of a term du jour these days, but it's something you need to understand as an ISSE. We're going to talk about the hierarchy of trust. Trust me, you are going to need to understand that for the ISSEP exam. We're going to talk about systems engineering versus information systems security engineering and what that means. And then we're going to review the security design principles that an ISSE needs to understand. And there's a list that I'm going to go through, but that list is by no means exhaustive, but it's the ones I think are probably the most important. So what is ZTA?
