- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to discuss artificial intelligence. I'm going to break that down into three topics. The first is artificial intelligence in general. Second is skills in artificial intelligence, and third is using artificial intelligence. For artificial intelligence in general, I'd like to start with a definition. Artificial intelligence is a program or other piece of software that performs task or produces output normally requiring human intelligence. In other words, AI tries to emulate human thinking and do the types of things that humans do. I think it's important to note that for the current AIs, the goal is not to be smarter than a human. The goal is just to be as smart as the typical human. And in fact, most of the ais on the market right now are not smarter than a human, but they are faster than a human.
