[music playing] Konnichiwa. Ocha o nomimasu ka? Ocha. Kore wa nan desu ka? Kore wa kyuusu desu. Kyuusu wa Nihon no 'tii potto' desu. Kore de ocha o iremasu. Kore wa nan desu ka? Kore wa yunomi desu. Nihon no 'tii kappu' desu. Kore de ocha o nomimasu. Jaa, kore wa nan desu ka? Or should I say, 'Nani to nani desu ka?' Kore kyuusu to yunomi desu. Kyuusu to yunomi. 'Yu-nomi' is literally a something you use for a 'hot-water drink.’ [sound effect] This pattern of saying '(something) to (something)' use the particle 'to' equivalent to the English 'and'. For example, Kore to kore wa Nihongo de nan desu ka? Neko to inu desu ne! Neko to inu. Totemo kawaii desu ne ! But this 'to' can only be used to combine nouns. For example, we have already seen the sentence: Basuke to amefuto ga suki desu. So, now let's try to say, 'I'm interested in anime and manga'. The phrase 'to have an interest in' is '(something) ni kyoumi ga arimasu'. Don't forget to combine 'anime and manga' using the particle 'to'.…
