Drawing tools overview

- In this exercise, I'm going to do a quick overview of the drawing tools, in XD. And at first glance, you may think they were ideal for creating simple vector drawings such as icons and masks. You wouldn't be wrong in that assumption. Lord knows I made a similar assumption. Then I saw this little R2D2 posted the LinkedIn by Shrivan Singh, a UX design intern at T Box based in India. This illustration was made using the XD drawing tools and took him over seven hours to complete. Naturally the obvious question was asked, Couldn't you have done this in Illustrator? His response was, Absolutely. But he was curious to see what these tools can do. Well now you know. The drawing tools are over here in the toolbar, and as you can see, they create what are commonly known as primitive shapes. A rectangle, a circle, a polygon, a line.
