- [Instructor] Adobe Experience Design solved a rather massive issue that UX designers have constantly encountered. For instance, if I click on this icon right here, the email, you would expect to have a keyboard appear and solve the issue so that I can input the names or input the text. In the bad old days, I would have to create another artboard with the keyboard on it, and that was time consuming. No longer. XD contains a feature called overlay, and it solves this issue big time. Let's take a look at how all of that works, and to get yourself started, open the overlay file found in your chapter download. When it opens, we have a login screen here and artboards for a keyboard and search results. What I want to do is to click on the email or this component here and have the keyboard magically appear.
