Natural language processing

- Natural language processing is a key capability in AI technologies. It's used in so many technologies we've actually been seeing for years. Things like reading and filtering emails with certain content and smart assistance on our personal devices. Predictive texts, like auto-complete, search results, call monitoring, language translations, text and data analytics. With the most recent advancements, we've seen this capability to ask and answer questions, and to even translate into other languages and voices at quality levels beyond what was previously available. These capabilities understand and generate written and verbal language. This is referred to as natural language processing. In our roles, we work to improve business processes and customer experiences. Some examples of how organizations are using natural language processing are things like formal and informal written communications and reports, generating letters and forms, and creating text summaries of datasets.
