- [Instructor] In September 2023, AWS made generally available an exciting service called Amazon Bedrock. Amazon Bedrock is a fully managed service, which offers a choice of high performing foundation models and capabilities, allowing you to build generative AI applications easily while maintaining privacy and security. Let's dive into this exciting service to understand its capabilities. When building generative AI applications, you'll quickly realize that no one foundation model rules them all. Amazon Bedrock provides a choice allowing you to select from a variety of leading foundation models. Although FMs are trained on vast amounts of data, you'll see that different models can be used for different use cases. We'll cover the types of models and differences later, but the best part is that you can access these models using a single API.
