Using AutoCAD web and mobile with your AutoCAD desktop - AutoCAD Tutorial
From the course: Learning AutoCAD 2025
Using AutoCAD web and mobile with your AutoCAD desktop
Once again we're staying in our interface.dwg file. Now I did mention in previous videos about the AutoCAD web and mobile cloud settings. Now you can save your AutoCAD drawings to the cloud providing you've got an Autodesk account. Now you'll notice up here on the right hand side of the screen at the top there's a little blue head and shoulders icon. If you hover over it that tells you that you're in your Autodesk account. Now you have to be in your Autodesk account to use AutoCAD nowadays because it is a subscription based piece of software. Now because of that you've got a little bit of space in the cloud that's all your own where you can save your drawings. Now the benefit of that is that with your AutoCAD subscription you get AutoCAD Web and AutoCAD Mobile. AutoCAD Web is AutoCAD through an internet browser AutoCAD Mobile can go onto your phone onto a tablet etc so it means you can collaborate and go mobile with your DWG files now I'm not going to go into too much depth on that…
