Recommended alerts and alert configurations
- [Instructor] Having monitoring data collected and dashboards using Grafana, for example, is all well and good, but that means you have to continuously monitor these dashboards with your own eyes. What you'd like is to be alerted by Azure when something goes wrong. For that, Microsoft has created the recommended alerts. So let's have a look at configuring them for us. In the Azure portal, under the resources recent, click your cluster, or under Azure services, go to the Kubernetes services and find your cluster in the list, or click it to get a list of your clusters, or use the search box at the top, type AKS, and click on Kubernetes services. Here, navigate to your cluster, hide the Kubernetes services blade to give yourself more space, and then scroll down all the way to alerts, which is under monitoring. Here, you'll be greeted with the dashboard for alerting. You can see we can set up recommended alerts right out in the middle by clicking view and set up. We will be presented…
