Create a new Canvas course
- [Instructor] Now that we've completed our teacher profile and customized the settings and notifications, we're ready to get started with our first course. Note that some of you will already have your courses created and assigned to you by your system administrator. And you may not even have the ability to create a new course, depending on whether that feature was turned on for you. If your course wasn't created for you, you'll need to create one. So let's take a look at how to create a new course in Canvas. In order to do this, I'm going to navigate over to the global navigation bar, on the left, and select dashboard. Here on the dashboard, you can see that I have a couple of courses already in here. There are two unpublished courses, Digital Communication and Leadership Fundamentals.
