- [Instructor] At its core, Confluence is a content sharing and collaboration application. It's no surprise that users sometimes need help finding information, sharing content with colleagues, or restricting sensitive information. Let's start by discussing the many ways to find info. The place to start is the Confluence dashboard or homepage. It's designed to guide users to information important to them. The content on this page is mostly dynamic and user specific. At the bottom is a list of the users recently edited and visited pages. And on the right is a list of their favorite spaces. Users can control this list by starring or unstarring spaces. In this sample homepage, how many user navigation options do you see? I see six. They are the main nav at the top, the small sidebar on the left, the recent activity fee at the bottom, the search function at the top right, the notification icon next to the search…
