- [Instructor] We'll be using a free hosted account on gitlab.com for this course. GitLab itself is free and open source and it's fairly simple to set up a standalone server that can handle up to 1,000 users. So that's also an option. Start by going to gitlab.com. And you might notice on this page, it doesn't seem like there's a way to sign up for an actual free account. There's a link that says Get free trial, but there's nothing for just a regular free account. Also, I've got my screen zoomed in pretty far to make this a little easier to see. So the links might look just a little different for you. So to get our free account set up without signing up for a free trial, we'll click here on the user icon for sign in. You might also see a link that says Sign in. And if you already have an account, you can of course log in here. But the option to set up a new one is down here, it says, "Don't have an account yet?
