- [Instructor] Let's take some of the knowledge we learned from this module and give it a try. We'll use our knowledge and we'll gain experience. First off, in this module, you saw a demonstration on how to use Configuration Manager Pivot, and this is similar to a pivot table where you take an Excel spreadsheet and you pull information from a database to find that information and format it in a way that works best for you. And that's built right into Configuration Manager as you saw in the demonstration. Locate various different things using queries such as the operating system, hard drives, and any other interesting client information. Can you imagine ways that you could use CMPivot to assist you in managing clients in Configuration Manager? I could definitely see finding out the information such as the hardware that's installed on the client and the software to help me find out if there's any conflicts in putting on two or more different types of software.
