Create a drawing boundary
- [Speaker] Traditionally sheet creation and layout have been a very manual and time consuming process. To overcome this, the drawing boundary feature is provided to allow you to quickly and easily define the location of a drawing on a sheet, which may contain a drawing. A sheet may be subdivided into several drawing boundaries. Here we are inside of Micro Station, and we have the details.dgn file open. This can be found in the 09 - Composing Sheets folder. As you can see, this detail sheet contains several details. Three additional curtain wall details need to be added to complete the sheet. So to begin, we'll set the active level to GANO Drawing Boundary. From the ribbon, we'll pick the drawing boundary tool. And let's set the following options in the tool settings window.
