Respond to a meeting invitation
- [Instructor] When someone sends you an invitation to a meeting, you have to decide whether to accept or reject it. Any invitations will show up on my calendar as tentative. If I hover my mouse over this invitation, I can see that it's from leslierich@gmail.com. I can see the start time and end time, that Leslie's organized it, and that I haven't accepted it yet. I can see that it's tentative because not only is it lighter in color, it also has this striped bar on the left hand side. This means it's a tentative appointment. What this really means is that while it's on my calendar, other people will see me is being available at that time. If I want to accept this meeting from here, I can select it and from the top of the ribbon, I can choose to accept it, mark myself as tentative, or decline the meeting.
