- [Instructor] If you have a large inbox with Outlook, it's very easy to search to find what you're looking for. The easiest and quickest way to get started is to click your mouse right at the top of the screen where it says Search. You'll notice that when you put your cursor in there, a dialogue box pops up with some recent searches that you may have made, people whose emails you might like to see, some recently used actions, if you've typed anything in there before, and some suggested actions. For example, you can filter your email right from here but I'm going to get started by simply putting in a word that I'm looking for. In this case, Jenny. I'll type Jenny and hit the Enter key on my keyboard. It filters your email immediately. I can also continue typing. I'll go back in there, hit the Space bar and type another word, I'll hit Enter and it further narrows it down. You'll notice that it highlights each word…
