- [Instructor] There are many data sources that are available on the internet, some for a cost, some for free. I'm going to show you how to connect to a web data source by grabbing some data from Wikipedia. So we're going to choose Get Data, and I could go to More, but notice Web is one of my options, so I can stop right there with web, and I'm being asked about a URL, and notice that I also have advanced options. So if there's advanced options, I want to know what they are. Yes. Do I want to use them right now? No. I'm just going to enter a URL. So the URLI want is for the list of countries by GDP with purchasing power parity per capita. You should see that as a banner on your screen, but it is also here on Wikipedia. So if you want to search for list of countries by GDP, PPP per capita, you can do that. I'm going to simply copy this, and swing back over into Power BI Desktop and paste that URL, and click OK.
